How do Minecraft Dungeons 2 equipment slots divide armor?

Minecraft Dungeons 2 treats a helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots as separate equipment pieces. Replacing one does not mean replacing all armor. Compare an item with the piece in the corresponding slot.

This separation increases the number of decisions in a loadout. It does not establish that every slot has the same kinds of stats or that every piece accepts every enchantment.

What does twelve slots tell you?

The total is confirmed by the official system description. It describes combat equipment capacity, not twelve identical weapon positions. This entry does not fill the remaining labels by guessing from the total.

Talismans are another equipment category and supply passive bonuses. The exact interface and progression locks should be read in your current game.

Why can matching item names differ?

Items have a chance to feature random effects. Two examples of one type can therefore differ in ways that matter to your build. Read the full description before deciding that a duplicate is redundant.

Use the equipment comparison guide when changing a piece. Then consider the Enchantsmith for compatible effects. The weapon reference compares broad combat roles without converting promotional stat bars into damage numbers.
