What are Minecraft Dungeons 2 Enchantment Points for?

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Enchantment Points are part of the cost of improving equipment through enchanting. They are not the enchantment itself: an enchantment book supplies an available effect, while points contribute to paying for an action.

The Enchantsmith interface is the place to compare the requirement for your chosen item and effect with your current balance.

How do you earn them?

Published guides describe leveling up as the source of points. Continue activities that advance your character rather than assuming that collecting more ordinary loot automatically gives an equal number of points.

Why are enough points sometimes not enough?
